Statutory basis
Processing of personal data is only lawful if the processing falls under one of the conditions established in the Regulation1. Software Information processes personal data based on explicit permission given by the data subject for the processing of these personal data.
With regard to the processing of personal data for (direct) marketing purposes, Software Information takes the position that this processing is necessary to promote the legitimate interests of Software Information.
Purpose of processing
Execution of an agreement
If a visitor enters into an agreement with Software Information, the personal data provided will be processed in order to properly execute the agreement. The agreement between Software Information and the visitor consists of mediating between the visitor and suppliers of software. In addition, Software Information will send the visitor an e-mail message with one or more suppliers of software, who will approach the visitor, exclusively at the request of the visitor, with information about the software they supply.
Software Information will provide the contact details to a maximum of 7 software suppliers when executing the agreement. The visitor can therefore be contacted by a maximum of 7 suppliers.
Marketing
Contact information provided is used by Software Information to approach the person in question with information about the services provided by Software Information. Data that Software Information collects through your visit to the website are also used to approach these visitors with information about the services provided by Software Information.
Product information
Software Information will send a whitepaper on request. The contact information provided will also be used to inform the visitor about news items relating to the service or developed products of Software Information.

Software Information processes (personal) data to improve the service. To this end, Software Information uses data from which Software Information can determine how you use the website and which pages you visit.
Data that Software Information collects
Software Information processes personal data which can be traced back to an individual as well as data that cannot be directly traced back to a person, such as company data. In addition, Software Information processes further anonymized information about the use and function of the website.
Data that you provide:
If you complete a form via the website or otherwise provide personal data to contact Software Information, the personal data you provide, including your gender, name, e-mail address, telephone number, job title and address details, will be stored.
Personal data that you submit will be stored on a server of Software Information or on a server of a third party. If personal data are stored on a server of a third party, Software Information ensures that a processor agreement is concluded with this third party.
Data that Software Information collects through your visit to the website
Software Information obtains insight into the use of the website through tracking pixels and cookies. Screen tracking enables Software Information to improve the ease of use and user experience for the visitor.
Via the IP-tracking software of Leadforensics, Software Information determines which IP address from which the visitor uses the website. Based on this IP address, Software Information is able to obtain company information from the visitor through the Leadforensics software. The data that Software Information obtains via Leadforensics only concerns the generic e-mail address of a company, the website of the company, the company name and location. It is necessary for Software Information to process these data, obtained via the IP-tracking software of Leadforensics, to promote the necessary interests of Software Information, with the aim of using this data for direct marketing purposes.
How we process data
Software Information uses the collected data to provide services, to improve services or to develop new services. In addition, Software Information uses the data to comply with any legal obligations.
The data collected by Software Information will never be provided to third parties, unless the storage of the data takes place on third-party servers. Software Information has concluded a processor agreement with these third parties in which they commit to adequately securing the data to be processed by them. The processors engaged by Software Information are:

Software Information will never provide personal data outside the data listed in this privacy statement to third parties, unless you give explicit permission to do so or if Software Information is required to do so by virtue of a court order or statutory provision.

Software Information uses (online) software and/or cookies to analyse the use of the website. The following (online) software and cookies are used:
Leadforensics
Via the IP-tracking software of Leadforensics, Software Information determines which IP address from which the visitor uses the website. Based on this IP address, Software Information is able to obtain company information from the visitor by means of the Leadforensics software. The data that Software Information obtains via Leadforensics only concerns the generic e-mail address of the company, the website of the company, the company name and location.
Screen tracking
Software Information uses screen tracking via Mouseflow software (see: mouseflow.com/gdpr/) and VWO (see: vwo.com/platform/security-compliance/gdpr/) to gain insight into the use of the website. This enables Software Information to improve the ease of use and user experience for the visitor. The information obtained about the use of the website can never be traced back to a natural person, as Mouseflow and VWO completely anonymize all data obtained.
Google Analytics
Software Information uses the Google Analytics software to gain insight into the website traffic. Software Information does not collect any IP addresses through Google Analytics. The information collected by Google is anonymised as much as possible.
The data collected by Google Analytics is transferred to Google servers in the United States. Google meets the requirements set by the Privacy Shield and thus offers an appropriate level of protection.
Software Information uses the remarketing function in Google Analytics. By placing a cookie, Software Information can show visitors of the website an advertisement in the display network of Google at a later time. If you visit the website of Software Information, the number of ads displayed through the Google Analytics remarketing feature is limited to a maximum of five ad views.
Security
Software Information makes every effort to adequately secure personal data collected. Software Information has taken both technical and organizational measures to realize a sufficient degree of security of these personal data, given the nature of the personal data to be processed.
The website of Software Information is secured with an SSL certificate. All messages sent via the website are therefore sent to Software Information in an encrypted manner.
Period of storage
Software Information will delete all personal data after 18 months, unless the personal data are still considered necessary for the execution of an agreement. In addition, Software Information will retain the data for longer if it has a compelling reason to do so, in which case Software Information will inform the data subject.
Data obtained by Software Information via screen tracking are stored on the servers of Software Information for 6 months and then automatically deleted.
Data that does not concern personal information, such as company names, locations and websites, is stored for statistical purposes for an indefinite period. These data can never be traced back to a natural person.
Changes to the privacy statement
Software Information is entitled to make changes to this privacy statement at any time. If Software Information changes the privacy statement, you will be informed about this via the website of Software Information.
Your rights
Below you can read which rights you have and how you can exercise these rights in relation to Software Information. Data obtained by Software Information via third parties do not fall under the rights listed below. With regard to the personal data that third parties collect about you, you must exercise your rights directly towards these third parties, except for those cases in which these third parties have applied as processors.

Right to withdraw consent
If Software Information has obtained permission from you to process personal data, then you always have the right to revoke this consent.

Right to be forgotten
You have the right to request Software Information to delete all data collected about you. In principle, Software Information must comply with this request. In certain cases, another (legal) interest may outweigh the right to be forgotten, in the judgement of Software Information.
Right to submit a complaint
